Bump Date: 38 Weeks!

How far along? 38 weeks as of Sunday!...Just realized that I wore this exact same outfit in my bump date from last week. What can I say? My wardrobe is limited these days and you wear what is most comfortable often! :)

Size of baby? She is now the size of a pumpkin, which seems HUGE to me! As of Friday at our last ultrasound she was 7lbs. 6oz. already! The Dr. predicts that she will be around 8lbs. 6oz. at birth. Wowza!

Maternity clothes? Oh of course! I am very tired of my lack of choices though-very much looking forward to being back in normal clothes and having many more options. I even bought a few non maternity spring tops last weekend. Hopefully they will fit soon after Lilly is born! :)

Gender?  A little lady, Miss Lillian!

Movement?  Yes and no. I think she is running out of room honestly! We did watch her dance around in my belly for about 30 minutes over the weekend though. It was sweet (and slightly uncomfortable!)

Sleep? Not the greatest, but I know this is just God's way of preparing me for the sleepless nights ahead with a newborn. I have lost count the past several nights as to how many times I have gotten up to use the restroom. It's absurd really! I have been having a much harder time falling asleep and staying asleep this week too, and I blame my back ache!

Food cravings? I have been craving glazed donuts since Saturday. We never buy donuts because they are horrible for you, but I think I might have to stop and get some! Otherwise, I still love ice cream or anything really cold! Oh and Chipotle was delicious on Saturday too!

What I miss? I miss being able to do anything quickly, being able to bend over, being able to easily shave my legs, not having to get up 10 times to pee at night...I don't mean to sound like I am complaining...well, I guess I kind of am. But really, at this point I am just DONE. I want her here, outside of my body and in our arms. That being said, I do know what a blessing and miracle being able to carry her is and has been.

Symptoms? Holy back pain batman! My back has been KILLING me since sometime last week. At first, Tylenol was helpful and I could at least move around but now Tylenol isn't even helping or providing any relief. I called the Drs. office yesterday and they said that it was just pregnancy and to be expected...they did call me in an RX for a stronger pain killer than Tylenol though. I hope that helps some! Maybe then I will get some sleep too!

Best moment last week? I guess I am going to have to say having our weekly ultrasound. It's so nice and reassuring to see her sweet face weekly on the screen. Her cheeks are chubby and she is squished, but so adorable! This Friday will be out last ultrasound before her arrival. hard to believe!

Looking forward to? Only one more bump date, unless Miss Lilly decides to comes early! Meeting our little girl!!! Only 9 days until our scheduled c-section. We are finally in the single digits people!

Yesterday at work I was gifted with the sweetest gift for Miss Lilly! A co-worker knit us a beautiful baby blanket and finished the pillow below. As soon as Stephen and I found out the gender of our little peanut, I asked her to make a personalized pillow using fabric that we had picked out to match her nursery. Well, it's finished and we LOVE it! isn't is beautiful!? I know that it's something that Lilly will use all throughout her childhood and I am so excited!

Now I am headed to update my Blood Sugar log (it's an Excel file) before my 11am OB appointment...maybe I will have an update on Miss Lilly later!
